2016 Florida Paddlers' Rendezvous
Paddling down as far South as the Mainland Lets You!
Sponsored by The South Florida Bush Paddlers (and Friends) and
Benefiting the South Florida National Parks Trust
We want to welcome all Florida Paddlers to our home!
Let us show you around. South Florida is FULL of paddling options, some of which are only available here, many of these are located on the east side of Everglades National Park.
The 2016 Rendezvous will be held December 2-4 and will be based out of the Flamingo Campground. We will have a variety of guided scheduled paddles, plenty of opportunities to paddle on your own, and plenty of options beyond paddling.
We will be focusing many of our trips on the unique opportunities that you will find at Everglades National Park. So we will have grass paddles in the largest continuous stand of sawgrass prairie in North America , mangrove paddles in the largest mangrove forest in the Western Hemisphere and bay paddles in Florida Bay. We will have bike rides, (relatively) dry hikes, swamp tromps and slough slogs.
